This position sits on the IAM Operations Enablement Team and is responsible for overseeing the delivery of initiatives and/or capabilities necessary for safeguarding the firm's information systems and applications (software development lifecycle); ensuring that they meet the agreed upon quality standards, deadlines, budget, and resource plan. This position must ensure compliance with every phase of the TDLC (Truist SDLC) and enterprise PMO standards (PMLC). The position will manage the design, plan, test and implement phases of cybersecurity technology projects.

- Drive delivery: Ensure that programs within this position’s remit are effectively driven. Take accountability and ownership for the successful delivery of work.
- Manage the portfolio of projects and programs across the organization. Align the portfolio with the strategic goals and priorities of the business, enterprise technology, and corporate cyber security portfolios.
- Coordinate and execute multiple projects that are aligned with the strategic direction of the department. Formulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected projects.
- Directly managing major initiatives.
- Monitor and report on the performance, risks, issues, and benefits of each project consistent with enterprise PMO PMLC and SDLC requirements.
- Monitor and report on the performance, risks, issues, and benefits of each project consistent with individual capability owners and department leadership requirements. In short, understanding progress (milestones, % complete is defined as a measurable unit) and blockers of each program in the portfolio.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal IAM leads, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
- Proactively identify and address communication gaps or process inefficiencies to enhance collaboration among IAM functions.
- Act as a liaison between IAM teams and other departments to ensure seamless integration of IAM policies and practices across the organization. Manage and improve the work intake process that includes items from department leadership, department continual improvement items, risk, audit & regulatory matters, and lines of business (app development, infrastructure, etc.). Ensure work items are triaged to appropriate team(s).
- Provide guidance and support for the projects, project managers, and stakeholders
- Partner with capability owners, subject matter experts and project managers / scrum masters to ensure that initiative scope is well defined, and the initiatives are broken into deliverables, tasks; alternatively, features, user stories and tasks.
- Ensure engagement with partners. Ensuring suitable strategies and engagement models with Application Technical Owners and Line of Business so that we can efficiently and accurately execute projects / programs
- Knowledge of Truist SDLC, TDLC, as well as Truist technology Change Management and Program Office PMLC requirements. Ensure all requirements / toll gates are followed..
- Lead complex and visible projects with moderate to high risk and complexity.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

- Systems thinker who sees the big picture and the interconnection amongst its parts.
- Ten year’s experience in corporate environment leading key initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalate experience
- Broad functional knowledge in applied enterprise information security technologies and identity management
- Excellent Communication
- Previous experience in leading complex IT projects
- Previous experience in leading infrastructure and wide-scale rollouts.
- This is a hybrid/onsite position
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-7 years experience managing projects across the IAM/PAM space.
- CISSP Certification
- Certification in project management methodology (CAPM, PMP, PgMP, CSM, etc.)
- Banking or financial services experience
- Other security certifications (e.g. CCNA Security, GSEC, GCED, GPPA, etc.)
- Other technical Certifications (e.g. CCNA, RHCE, MCSE, etc.)
