Position Overview:
The Senior Project Manager with Product Owner responsibilities will oversee the delivery of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. This role requires collaboration across various teams, including development team, change management, Enterprise Governance and Enterprise Risk management, ensuring that projects meet deadlines, policies, budgets, and quality standards. As a product owner, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing product backlogs, working closely with stakeholders to ensure the product vision is realized.
Our Impact:
The Investments and Capital Markets (I&CM) division is responsible for management of the retained portfolio as well as Freddie Mac's debt funding, liquidity management and interest-rate hedging. The division is also responsible for I&CM securitization.
Your Impact:
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for monthly multiple software release management processes. In this role you will develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources. Collaborate with infrastructure teams, change management and impacted users to coordinate environment change. You will be the point person for incident management including communications, resolution and root cause analysis. This role will require the creation of technical and knowledge documentation and defining and driving new procedures.
This is a highly technical role that will require software development knowledge and experience. In this role you will handle Unix troubleshooting and shell scripting, will need to use Jenkins and Kubernetes to end to end build, oversee and help with testing, deployment and integration with GIT/Artifactory /BitBucket.
This role will require you to participate in a limited on-the-called schedule for releases.
Qualifications:
Bachelor/master's degree in information systems (MIS), computer science, or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred
5 – 7 years of Technical Project Manager experience using Jira
Expert level hands on experience in Jira
Proficiency with project management software and tools, such us JIRA, MS Office Suite, Unix/Linux Shell script
Technical background with 5+ years of experience developing & maintaining Java software apps
Experience with ServiceNow and Release Management practices
Able to research and learn new methodologies and technologies and bring knowledge to the team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group; developers, product owners, and subject matter experts.
AWS or Cloud Engineering experience highly desired

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $130,000 - $196,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
