Gather, analyze, document and maintain all data requirements related to the application AxiomSL interfaces and reporting environments. Direct experience with configuration and maintenance of Axiom XL with strong expertise in Controller View for solution related to Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Last Mile Reports. Manage and update system configurations (including applying release updates) within the regulatory reporting application (Axiom/Adenza) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with regulatory requirements – 50+ releases per year.
Apply standards and best practices to ensure the Bank's data is accurate, complete, current, understandable and accessible. Work closely with internal clients, business analysts and development project teams to resolve information flow and content issues.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage and update system configurations (including applying release updates) within the regulatory reporting application AxiomSL to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with regulatory requirements – 50+ releases per year to be implemented in non-prod environments with the creation of implementation package consolidated for Production Support team along with the participation in production releases and implementation tasks including the documentation and TDLC process adherence (where applicable).
2. Monthly configuration in AxiomSL of Branch maintenance in all respective environments (DEV, UAT, PROD) for all the reports in scope for Truist.
3. Coordinate the work of delivery and production support teams to enhance, upgrade and grow the scope and functionality of the Truist AxiomSL implementation.
4. Gathers, reviews, analyzes, profiles, validates and maps system data from the data warehouse to meet reporting and analytical business needs in AxiomSL using Oracle, SQL or other intermediate database skills.
5. Performs data analysis and troubleshooting on data-related issues reported by production support and other business user teams.
6. Identify, diagnose, and resolve configuration-related issues within the application, working closely with LOB teams and AxiomSL Vendor Support (Adenza/Nasdaq) as necessary.
7. Develops solutions and recommendations for improving data integrity issues. Analyzes data issues and works with development teams for problem resolutions. Identifies problematic areas and conducts research to determine the best course of action to correct the data, identify, analyze and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets.
8. Determines and analyzes line of business requirements, use system data, and provide input needed by various departments and senior management to produce business reports.
9. Works with extract, transform and load (ETL) developers to test and validate data attributes and with other business analysts to ensure data is integrated consistently, regardless of the source system.
10. Works with business analysts and project teams to provide accurate documentation of data related project and support deliverables including user guides, architecture diagrams and process workflow diagrams. Work with source system business analysts to understand system nuances and resolve data issues. Takes ownership of issues through resolution including close coordination between business analysts.
11. Creates data quality metrics and scorecards. Performs regular audits of data. Understands data governance principles and how they apply.
12. Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards and complete required compliance trainings to upgrade the skillset based on changing needs for regulatory requirements.
13. Assist in the summarization and communication of issues identified by the regulatory reporting team, provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders and management, and communicate with regulatory reporting team members, senior management, and relevant department heads to present findings and propose solutions.
14. May instruct, direct, and mentor other members of the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in information technology, information systems, computer science or business-related field, eight years of experience in a role of data analysis, statistical analysis, data transformation, data reconciliation and/or sophisticated data presentation or equivalent education and related training or experience
2. Experience in ETL Development using standard tools
3. Understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse concepts and prior experience applying that understanding to query data in a Very Large Database (VLDB) environment
4. Familiarity in using a query analysis tool
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Direct experience with configuration and maintenance of AxiomSL with strong expertise in Controller View for solutions related to Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Last Mile Reports, FFIEC 031 Call Report and FR Y-9C Report is critical to this role.
2. Strong technical skills in understanding and managing application data integration points.
3. Strong understanding of System Configuration, System Administration, Security Roles and Responsibilities and Segregation of Duties for SOX and Regulatory Compliance.
4. Strong technical skills in understanding and managing application data integration points. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and compliance, to achieve common goals.
5. AxiomSL Controller View Technical Certification.
6. Report development exposure and experience in Axiom.
7. Understanding of Business Intelligence and Business Intelligence software packages.
8. Experience with Informatica.
9. Background in banking and general banking systems.
10.Working knowledge of Statistical Analysis System (SAS) and other analytic tools.
11. Intermediate Oracle / SQL Query design.
