The Business Associate is a senior level position responsible for accomplishing results by accurately and efficiently tracking human capital activity, business financials and other administrative and ad hoc projects as necessary.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure headcount is accurate, real estate is inventoried and planned, and onboarding and termination of resources are managed.
  • Drive productivity/ cost savings initiatives in partnership with the senior management team. Execute vendor management activities, including ensuring the correct financial governance is applied and coordinating contract processing.
  • Manage financial control by applying an understanding of the department Profit & Loss (P&L), including appropriate accruals, client allocations, the impact of capitalization, recovery, and fixed price contracts to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Build strong and effective relationships with key partners in ISG and support functions. Drive administrative, operational, reporting and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with peers to ensure appropriate levels of commonality are achieved and best practice is shared and adopted.
  • Advance organization/people strategy goals including communications strategy, talent strategy, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in a financial services role
  • Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and technology, including Profit & Loss (P&L), accruals, client allocations, capitalization, recovery, and fixed price contracts
  • Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures
  • Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
