Description Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required5-7 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Experience with various file systems VSAM/FLAT/GDG and must have knowledge of programming languages COBOL, CICS Strong knowledge of JCL/TSO/ISPF, job scheduling (ESP, Control-M) and understanding of DB2 database system. Experience with RPG II is a big plus Strong in CICS with knowledge of BMS map editing, CICS tables and transactions. Ability to use various third party tools like INSYNC, SyncSort for data extraction, manipulation and load of VSAM Should be able to run and analyze test jobs for various testing needs of QA/ UAT teams and hands on experience with Endevor Familiarity with ETL, file transmissions mechanisms, NDM is a plus and must be a self starter and able to research, identify a problem and solution. Must have good communication skills, interaction with UAT and business teams Experience with large financial applications integrated in a distributed setup with various modern technologies. Experience with COBOL reengineering and re-platforming of mainframe applications
