- The Manager of Application Security is responsible for the defining and advancing secure coding and development practices in addition to providing capabilities and security tools to efficiently analyze custom development and API security.
- The Manager is responsible for the team of engineers and analysts to guide and further the application security discipline across IT and even non-IT aligned developers.

- Oversees the Application Security Program
Develop product capability roadmaps to identify modern application security exposures introduced during the development process. - Manages the team’s scheduling
- Ensures the communication and education of effective application security vulnerability identification and remediation prior to deployment into production
- Experience with automation of security within the DEV/SEC/OPS lifecycle pipelines
- Identifies chronic operational and security issues and ensures that they are managed appropriately
- Manages and escalates roadblocks that may jeopardize security operations or increase risk to the company
- Serves as senior mentor to Application Security staff
Interfaces and collaborates with outside teams and organizations - Documents and tracks analyst training requirements
- Ensure analysts follow existing procedures and that all procedures are documented in accordance with local guidelines
- Manages process improvement program
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 5 years of Information Technology related experience
- 4 years of Information Security related experience
- 2 years of management/leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 5+ years of Information Security related experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Experience with Vulnerability Scanning Platforms, Penetration Testing, Dynamic and Static Code Analysis, and Program Development
- Information Security Certification such as: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, GREM
- Familiarity with NIST Special Publications (e.g. 800-53, 800-37)
- Familiarity with PCI DSS Compliance standards and scanning practices
- Experience managing work using Agile principles for planning and delivery
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
