The Opportunity
This position works out of our Lake County location in the Corporate Strategy & Solutions organization. The CSS organization drives data-driven solutions and generates business value across the Corporate Functions. We leverage state-of-the-art technologies to build innovative applications that address complex health challenges and develop reliable, cost-effective tools.
As the RTR Architect, you will be a key part of the Corporate Functions Record to Report (RTR) clients, responsible for the development and oversight of key applications in the RTR platform. As a leader of RTR product programs, you will drive complex projects to completion including SaaS, Alteryx, .NET, MS PowerApps and legacy iSeries applications.
As the RTR Architect, you will assist with setting system program strategy, idea evaluation, prioritizing features, define releases with customers, work with BRM and Program Manager to manage product roadmap, timelines, budget, coordinate and drive RTR & Corporate Financial Services customer activities associated with these projects. Communication and reporting of development status and progress to Corporate Finance Solutions & Procurement Senior Management.
What You’ll Work On
Serve as primary architect for a variety of technologies including .NET, Alteryx, SharePoint, iSeries and SaaS based systems.
Partner with managed service provider while overseeing support of numerous applications to ensure system stability, ongoing maintenance and customer satisfaction
Conduct investigation and collaborate with other technical subject matter experts to provide technical advice on adoption or integration of new technologies and corresponding business impact.
Develop alternative technical solutions; advise on options, risks, costs and benefits, and impact on other business processes and system priorities.
Review, validate and enhance design, conduct performance monitoring and capacity planning; install, test and upgrade releases and associated products.
Recommend operational improvements or devise new approaches to technical or process issues to meet business objectives.
Develop, motivate, and provide direction to the support team in a way that facilitates the creation of a team environment and enables team to fulfill business operation objectives.
Oversee the continuous improvement of support and technical standards.
Comply with all applicable Corporate, Cyber and Divisional Policies and procedures to provide compliant and secure solutions.
Interact with internal and external SOX auditor teams on an annual basis. Coordination with internal audit during regional audits.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
8+ years experience in finance systems development
4+ years experience in finance systems support
Experience in facilitating resolution of cross-team integrated topics
Experience and knowledge in creation secure integrations between various applications
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with 10 years of relevant experience as project manager and/or program manager, ideally in Procurement or Finance functional areas.
Experience with hardware and software development of complex systems
Strong technical experience in cross-functional program management and team leadership.
Experience with Web applications or App Development Projects/Programs
Development experience using Cognos, .NET and Java
SaaS vendor management for global applications
Alteryx configuration and developer on global systems
Experience in working with auditing teams and presenting materials accurately in a timely manner.
Require strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work and negotiate with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels of the organization and across companies to align plans and resolve conflict.
Additional cross-functional experience in the areas of Cybersecurity & Infrastructure are desirable.
Require process-oriented thinking, focused on continuous improvement and lessons learned; have demonstrated ability to define and implement complex and interdependent business processes.
May required to travel up to 10%.

The base pay for this position is $97,300.00 – $194,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
