As a Sr. Associate, Product Operations for Capital One’s Commercial Bank, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for driving the enablement and adoption of our digital products for both internal and external users. This unique role combines aspects of product marketing, communications, user education, and change management. An ideal candidate will have empathy for our users, deep understanding of our products, and be comfortable navigating user-level data to inform and execute Go-to-Market strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Support development of marketing, communication and change strategies from concept to launch
- Collaborate with partners (e.g., product managers, designers, project managers, engineers, heads of our business lines) to understand change impacts, identify dependencies and create tailored go-to-market plans for new features and new user groups
- Develop and manage product messaging that is easily consumed and understood by our users, to be used in-app and across multiple user engagement channels beyond email to achieve onboarding and adoption goals
- Contribute to the development and execution of user training (video tutorials, live training sessions, user guides) to drive engagement and adoption for new features and enhancements
- Work directly with end users to build trust and gather insights that will ultimately drive usage and inform the product lifecycle and future roadmaps
- Manage change management routines, channels and communications with various stakeholders/value chain partners across the commercial bank to ensure optimal leadership & associate engagement
- Utilize metrics to gather feedback and monitor adoption to help identify potential user resistance/performance gaps, and ultimately create adoption strategies
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
- At least 2 years of Product Operations, Product Marketing or Change Management experience
- At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of direct experience managing change using Agile or Waterfall methodology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 3+ years of experience with managing marketing channels (e.g., in-app, web, video, in-person events)
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills
- Basic understanding of commercial banking or other financial services
- Prosci or other change management certification or designation
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Basic understanding of visual design principles

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
