Responsible for developing and maintaining the technical IT / cyber security capabilities necessary for safeguarding the firm's information systems and applications (software development lifecycle), including every phase of the SDLC and software stack. Design, plan, test and implement phases of cybersecurity technology projects.
Specific focus will be on the extraction and aggregation of Non-Human Secrets management research data that will be used to score applications and teams on their use of Non-Human Secrets in the enterprise. All applications in our CMDB are in scope (over 2000 applications).Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
- Develop and maintain the extraction jobs from a large variety of sources that indicate non-human secrets usage by applications and processes. Sources include but are not limited to ServiceNow, MS SQL Server, AWS, Azure, Active Directory, and Splunk.
- Lead efforts related to designing, planning, enhancing, and testing the Crypto Admin API to include all the data from the extraction jobs.
- Lead enhancement and maintenance of the Crypto Admin system (both the web console and the API), including all the automation to build in GitLab and deploy to OpenShift. Includes GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Node JS builds, and more.
- Develop the appropriate reporting data for consumption by the Crypto Admin system, leveraging NetApp StorageGRID to securely store and serve extracted non-human secrets reporting data.
- Leads teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity.
Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree and six years of experience in systems engineering or administration or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Deep specialized and/or broad functional knowledge in applied enterprise data technologies including but not limited to data warehousing, ETL techniques, automated systems implementation, and use of secrets management in these processes.
- Previous experience in implementing complex IT projects
- Ability to write software and automation using JavaScript, Python, Bash, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Deep experience with using automation on and administering Linux and Windows servers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Banking or financial services experience.
