The Infrastructure Domain in Information Technology manages and maintains the client/server hardware and software that underpins an organization’s computing environment. This domain covers various responsibilities, from IT logistics, virtualization, storage, containers, and integration technologies to data center management.
What you'll do

- Oversee IT Operations: Manage the IT department's daily operations, ensuring systems, services, and infrastructure work reliably and securely.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and managing performance.
- Project Management: Develop, implement, and manage IT projects that align with company goals.
- System Maintenance: Plan and execute system upgrades, maintenance tasks, and disaster recovery plans.
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage service level agreements (SLAs).
- Security and Compliance: Develop strategies and procedures for securing IT infrastructure and ensuring compliance with legal and company guidelines.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and produce regular reports on the infrastructure status.
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree in technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 6+ years of experience in support and delivery of mission critical platforms
- 3+ years of experience leading IT teams.
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- Airline Industry leadership experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- All candidates will need the following:
- Radio Communications Experience (Motorola, Jotron, Others) for both UHF- VHF systems and their integrations from Code Building, engineering solutions, to implementing infrastructure).
- VOIP Communications experience (Dispatch, telephony, Console Systems such as Avtec).
- The ability to coordinate with stakeholders to design, engineer, and deploys reliable Avtec updates, configuration changes, and UHF/VHF solutions to support and improve system operations.
- Experience with current best practices in IT standards, principles, and security practices to ensure that all servers, applications, and hardware meet patching and compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex IT issues in an operationally critical environment.
- Capability to align IT infrastructure with business goals and plan for future growth.
