              P2 Sr Analyst, ServiceNow Administration and Development

Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and fulfills detailed ServiceNow platform requests and advanced problems directly with the clients in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for completing ServiceNow Incidents, Defects, and Tasks according to established SLA’s
  • Perform daily health check of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Receives general guidance and may receive more detailed instructions on new projects.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and recommends permanent corrective actions based on the analysis
  • Execute preventive maintenance Services to proactively address events. Platform upgrades, quarterly patching, and security updates
  • Support P1 and P2 Service Disruption Events and drive to restoration
  • Recommends process improvements and supports a continuous improvement mindset

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of IT experience
  • BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing enterprise software and solutions
  • ITIL v3 or v4 certification a plus
  • Experience with ServiceNow instance upgrades and patches along with strategy and execution.
  • Experience with integration components such as SSO, LDAP
  • Experience with web technologies such as AJAX, XML, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services (SOAP, REST)
  • Experience in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including client requirement analysis and system design, and/or software engineering principles
  • Understanding of Incident Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, and Release Management as it relates to ITIL
  • Experience with Run book automation and data integration
  • Experience with a scripting language, such as PowerShell, Perl or Python
  • Experience with GCP or AWS Cloud Infrastructure
