The Opportunity:

Senior SAP Solution Architect with expertise in full life cycle of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) implementations, including deep expertise in configuration, customization, integration with other modules, complex business process analysis, and project leadership.

What You'll Work On:

  • Partner with the functional groups to assess business needs utilizing structured interview processes to establish business priorities and document clear requirements.

  • Conduct investigation and collaborate with other technical subject matter experts to provide technical advice on adoption or integration of new technologies and corresponding business impact.

  • Develop alternative technical solutions; advise on options, risks, costs and benefits, and impact on other business processes and system priorities.

  • Serve as an SAP functional configuration expert to develop, test and implement new solutions.  Configure applicable module(s) to design optimal solution.

  • Evaluate SAP notes, new functionality, and upcoming releases for assigned modules.

  • Recommend operational improvements or devise new approaches to technical or process issues to meet business objectives.

  • Lead in the development of standards and procedures and publish/communicate findings via IOI’s, presentations, white papers, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or another relevant discipline

  • 10+ years of experience in full life cycle of SAP Finance - Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) implementations.

  • Deep functional knowledge: Extensive understanding of all aspects of SAP FICO (ECC and S4 Hana) including General Ledger (G/L), Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Fixed Assets (AA), Banking, Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders (IO), Profitability Analysis (COPA), and Product Costing (PC).

  • Implementation and upgrade expertise: Working in full life cycle implementations, upgrades, and rollouts of SAP FICO across multiple projects, including requirements gathering, blueprint design, configuration, testing, data migration, training, and go-live support. 

  • Integration with other modules: Strong knowledge of integrating SAP FICO with other modules like Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) to ensure seamless data flow and business process alignment. 

  • Solution architecture design: Designing complex SAP FICO solutions considering business needs, regulatory compliance etc. Sound understanding of Middleware and peripheral system integrations.

  • Technical expertise: Understanding of SAP configuration tools, data migration techniques, LSMW, BDC, and potential for custom development when required. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business process analysis: Analyzing existing financial processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and designing optimized solutions within the SAP FICO framework. 

  • Project leadership: Managing teams of SAP FICO consultants, overseeing project timelines, budgets, and quality control, and effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels. 

  • Implementation Tools: Working knowledge with Solution Manager, HPQC, Jira

The base pay for this position is $111,300.00 – $222,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
