Job Description - Operations Manager - IT - Band 2
Detail-oriented resource with Digital, Order Management & IT skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, support and troubleshooting of the sites Order Management System (OMS) of our , Professional Oral Health (POH) and Direct To Consumer(DTC) Operations, ensuring smooth operations and efficient order processing. This position requires a strong understanding of various technologies, programming languages, and systems integration to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Job Description:
The Operations Manager - IT is responsible for managing key applications and services running on virtualized and non-virtualized platforms. They utilize their deep understanding of Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, Linux, Windows server administration, networking, and databases to ensure optimal performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:

- Resolve complex problems, build and improve procedures, and facilitate communication.

- Leverage software development and open-source solutions to automate provisioning of services, monitoring, and corrections.
- Embrace agile methodologies (fail fast, learn, and iterate).
- Define jobs to be done in collaboration with engineers, product managers, marketers, and brand partners.
- Keep current and adhere to the latest design best practices, strategies, technologies, and industry changes.
- Maintain day-to-day Digital Operations of the sites POH/DTC solutions.
- Support Digital Initiatives across the Operations
- Perform day-to-day troubleshooting of the OMS, including but not limited to:
- Resolving issues related to artwork not moving through the system.
- Setting up new imprint items when receiving orders to ensure proper processing.
- Conducting inventory reconciliation to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Addressing label printing issues to ensure timely shipment processing.
- Ensure and maintain all OMS solutions comply with Information Security guidelines and policies.
- Utilize SQL Server to write queries that troubleshoot order status and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain an awareness of systems and data flow to facilitate effective problem-solving and communication with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate across a multi-function team, IT, ICA and Operations teams to resolve technical issues and enhance system performance.
- Support and troubleshoot applications developed in Python, Java, .Net, and Tomcat environments.
- Manage and maintain label printing processes, including ZPL programming for various label printers.
- Assist in the integration and support of shipping software, including ConnectShip and BlackBox cartonization tools.
- Participate in various projects such as Batch Management, POH Bulk, and Lightning Pick updates, contributing technical expertise to improve operations.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrates breadth of applied IT skills across at least two IT job profiles.
- Requires at least two relevant roles and experience managing or influencing people or organizations to achieve significant IT outcomes.
- Defines strategy and leads the delivery and transformation of business outcomes through IT within major sub-OU services, products, or programs.
- Actively participates in developing others in the function, with completion of Leadership Strength Assessment (LSA) and a sustainable career journey ahead.
Job Qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with site leaders, technicians and various central teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs.
- Proficiency in SQL Server, including query writing and data analysis.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java and VB .NET.
- Experience with Tomcat application server and Eclipse IDE.
- Knowledge of Restful services and networking principles, including TCP socket programming.
- Familiarity with server management, virtualization, and infrastructure concepts.
- Experience with label printer operations and ZPL programming.
- Prior experience with ConnectShip shipping software and BlackBox cartonization software is a plus.

Starting Pay / Salary Range
USA Salary Range:$105,000.00 - $156,200.00 / year(Please note, Salary Range/Starting Pay is only applicable to US and Canada-based roles.)
