You are:
A person who has lived and breathed engineering, construction, project management and project controls who likes to think big-picture and help find solutions. You have a solid working knowledge and experience in project management and control systems required to build and modernize physical assets, infrastructure and buildings. You have experience and/or interests in digital solutions that can help clients do more. You are good with people and eager to learn new project and product solutions. You are comfortable leading project teams and client engagements.
The Work:
In your role within our Industry X team, you’ll work within our Engineering & Manufacturing practice, supporting digital transformation for capital projects, engineering, and manufacturing across industries.
As an Industry X Capital Projects Associate Director you will:
- Support the strategies for growth and value creation within Industry X
- Become a champion of Industry X integrated workforce solutions, tools, and platforms
- Help clients adopt to new digital processes and tools and infuse project controls best practices
- Gain experience with Accenture’s ecosystem partners
- Work within engagement teams to build the strategies, capabilities, systems, and processes needed to deliver bottom-line results and ensure those results will be sustained
- Gain knowledge in Accenture Delivery Methods to support consistent project delivery based on industry leading practice
- Break down processes into logical components and construct clear reasoning and analyses
- Good ability to translate strategic initiatives and concepts into business solutions
- Ability to work within an agile delivery environment
- Interface between Engineering, Project Controls, Project Management, Procurement and Contracts, Construction, and the client stakeholders at all levels within the organization
- Ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations
- Willingness to maintain a flexible travel schedule subject to updated return to office plans and client expectations
- Excellent communication, analytics, and organizational skills
Job Requirements:
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here’s what you need:
Min 10 years of experience with Project Control and Management system work process including Project governance, cost. contract and schedule functional areas, while leading and managing workstreams within a project to manage the workstream’s scope, timelines and deliverables and delegate and track activities to completion
Min of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 6 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have minimum 12 years’ work experience)
Min of 10 years experience within the renewable energy, oil & gas, and utilities sector
Min 10 years of knowledge of Project Controls environment and related software including Microsoft applications, Oracle Construction and Engineering Suite (i.e. Oracle Primavera), Hexagon PPM, E-Builder, Procore, Copperleaf, PowerBI and Tableau
Bonus points if:
- You have consulting and/or field experience in engineering, project management, or project controls
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business, engineering, construction, data analytics, or technology related field
- You have experience in systems integration and data conversion activities as part of a Project Control and Management systems implementation
- You have experience in Leading end to end planning and delivery of Project Control and Management systems implementations
- Experience in the following industries: 5G/Telecomm/Network design/buildout, Life Sciences, Renewables/Hydrogen, Utilities and/or Discrete Manufacturing, Public Sector and/or Transportation
- Experience delivering digital experience projects as part of a cross-functional team
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
