What You’ll Do

  • Define and execute our product strategy, ensuring close alignment with our customers’ needs and business objectives
  • Work closely with engineering teams to build scalable, secure, and intuitive solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to drive capabilities from ideation to launch and scaling them.
  • Translate complex technical challenges into intuitive product experiences that delight our users
  • Own the product roadmap and drive execution while balancing agility, customer value, and delivering a high quality experience.
  • Leverage internal and external innovations in cloud computing, data security, and AI-driven automation to build an industry leading data security platform.
  • Gather insights from customers and partners to drive market adoption and improve the product experience.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager building (0-1) and scaling (through product led growth) B2B cloud-native software products focused on data security, governance, or privacy areas.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ year of experience building software for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks
  • 6+ year of experience with building AI & Data security, analytics, or automation products.
  • 6+ year of experience building products focused on cybersecurity, risk, DLP (Data Loss Prevention), or data governance.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with APIs and building integrations with Open source and partner products
  • Strong knowledge and experience with building large-scale distributed systems
  • 6+ year of experience growing and managing a team of product managers
  • 6+ year of experience building a community of users and product evangelists/champions

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Remote (Regardless of Location): $175,500 - $200,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
