 The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Senior Vice President, Front-End Engineer in New York, NY, to consult with internal business groups to provide high-level application software development services or technical support. Provide comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staff. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field, and nine (9) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation. Nine (9) years of experience must include: Delivering best-in-class solutions across multiple device types including desktop, tablet, and mobile utilizing Angular, Ionic, Cordova, NodeJS, CSS3, HTML5, and Typescript; Designing, architecting, and building scalable, distributed services and applications that integrate across different technologies including Angular, Tomcat, Git, and CICD pipelines; Participating in requirements gathering and analysis, cost estimates, preparing design documentation, and design reviews utilizing daily scrum calls, Jira boards, and confluence; Collaborating by utilizing an agile development process, building responsive web applications utilizing Typescript, JavaScript, Angular, Jira, and Confluence, developing innovative UIs using cutting edge technologies HTML5, CSS3, Ionic framework and developing new ideas and concepts utilizing Scrum and White boarding; Utilizing Angular, Typescript, and JavaScript in code reviews and integrating software components into fully functional software systems; Applying security and privacy principles while working on internal business groups and implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various applications utilizing SonarQube and unit testing; and, Developing front end, web and mobile software development using Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, Angular, and Ionic Framework. Salary: $169,229 per year. Qualified applicants please apply online at https://bnymellon.eightfold.ai/careers and utilize reference code # 52714. BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be $169,229 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. 

This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
