This job is a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division.

The Collaboration Services Manager is responsible for leading and caring for a team of individual contributors responsible for maintaining the critical infrastructure by providing Collaboration related services to all American Airlines team members. Responsibilities of this role also includes maintaining the financials related to budgets and forecasting for all products, including 3rd party contracts.

  • Leads, trains, and mentors Collaboration team members and provides technical support, direction, supervision, and leadership to members of the Collaboration support group for assigned locations
  • Contributes to the planning and deployment of Collaboration-related projects
  • Serves as liaison with fellow AAIT support departments, including applications development and infrastructure
  • Monitors and maintains integrity of established American Airlines Technology security policies, practices, and procedures
  • Oversee Microsoft Teams voice services including Direct Routing, integration with SBCs, and performance management.
  • Lead the architecture, deployment, and operations of Cisco UC technologies: CUCM, Unity, Expressway, Webex, IM&P
  • Oversee daily AV operations including system setup, installations, troubleshooting, and support for some events.
  • Maintains an effective approach on problem solving, multi-tasking, coordinating, and scheduling in accordance with stated goals to ensure visibility and predictability
  • Completes ad-hoc projects and other related duties as required
  • Acts as technical owner responsible for end-to-end problem ownership, resolution, and communication with employees and key business stakeholders

All you'll need for success

  • Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Technology, or related field or equivalent experience/training
    • 3 years of experience leading team members
    • Budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
    • 3+ years of leadership experience
    • Airline experience
  • Skills, Licenses & Certifications
    • Experience with Microsoft O365 suite of products, and Audio Visual technologies
    • Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
    • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively handle shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment
    • Ability to influence others through positive interpersonal skills
    • Ability to think creatively and demonstrate problem-solving skills
